With more than 12 years of international experience in product, market, and strategy development, Marta Fusté leads Snapchat's expansion into Latin American markets. Today, her main challenge is to create a localized user experience for millions of Gen Z teens and young Latinos.
Currently, she is focused on improving the app's performance and fostering relationships with telecommunications companies to ensure that anyone has access to visual communication features. By this we mean tools such as video messages, photos, filters, Augmented Reality experiences, emojis, stickers, and even personalized digital avatars, which make interaction faster and more fun.
Another major challenge for the Snapchat team in Mexico is to make the user experience unique with Augmented Reality Lenses from local developers, media, and high-impact content creators. The platform already has more than 15 million active users in the country.
