Pablo García is the Vice President of Marketing at Mercado Libre Commerce, leading the marketing efforts in Marketplace, Mercado Ads, and Vehicles, Real Estate, and Services (VIS) verticals. Previously, he held the position of VP of Marketing at Mercado Pago, the fintech division of the company.
Pablo García has extensive expertise with a 20-year career in marketing and commercial roles in leading consumer goods companies including Procter & Gamble, PepsiCo, and Johnson & Johnson. In the latter organization, Pablo worked from the company's offices in England. In the UK, he joined PepsiCo, where he rose to positions including General Manager for Argentina and VP for the Snacks category in Central and South America.
Pablo holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of San Andrés and an MBA at Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University.
